This is the first installment of my blog...please forgive my rambling...or, is that what a blog is?
Two weeks ago, Isabella and I were able to take a trip back to Montana to see family and friends. It was a fantastic trip but as you can imagine, time back home was simply not enough. Thank you all for taking time to spend with us. It means the world to me.
Since the trip, I have spent the last week cleaning out my office and tidying up appointments and "to-do's" at work. It's amazing how many little tasks creep up on you when time is of the essence. But, as luck would have it, all is accomplished and as of this coming Monday, I will be officially deployed. I will spend the next week in San Diego going through administration and then off to Kansas for 3 months...I hear it's nice there this time of year...actually no, I'm kidding, I never heard that. But, I've never been to Kansas, so I am intrigued for what is to come.
Hopefully, this site will offer me a way of updating you all on my day-to-day activities. This is going to be a tremendous life experience and I look forward to sharing it with you.

ReplyDeleteWEll we had the best time with you and Izzie. We enjoyed that time very much. The photo is very funny. Your not missing much in Mt the weather is crappy (well at least for someone who is allergic to the cold!!) It snowed all day yesterday and is a little windy and cold with snow and the ground.
